Everything was excellent...the chip salsa was warm and a little different in a good way...charro beans melt in your mouth...the Chile Riano was amazing even the rice was spectacular...I eat a lot of Mexican food this was the best
Did not expect such a good meal as we were driving from College Station. The Aggie game was on, locals were watching and eating and the vibe was really good. I had the stuffed baked potato and Bae had nachos. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.
The food was amazingly authentic! The beef and chicken fajitas for 2 were expertly prepared, chargrilled and flavorful!
We had planned to eventually visit Ama's some time, but we ended up there by default on that particular day since we found out that the restaurant we had originally planned to visit is closed on Sundays. We were SO very glad it worked out that way!! Everything we had at Ama's was excellent overall. I agree with the other reviews that some of the food lacked a little seasoning (specifically salt) but that is such an EASY FIX and nothing to really complain about in my opinion. It's so much better to add your own salt than to be served food that's too salty. We loved the chunky guacamole with perfectly made pico de gallo, and the combo fajitas with rice and beans. Chips and salsa were okay. The cheese enchiladas with ranchero sauce may have been the best we've ever tried. The sauce was perfectly spicy. I wish I had that those enchiladas right now to be honest! The margaritas were great too. If Ama's wasn't three hours away, we would be visiting very often. Although I'm unable to recall her name right now, our server was great too! We will definitely stop by Ama's again on the next road trip out that way.
I ate there today with a party of 23. The food was good, but Lynette T, our server, was SUPERB! SHE WAS EXCELLENT! SHE WAS FAST, FRIENDLY, and the orders were ACCURATE! She also had to do separate tickets for 6 families, and they were all correct! If you go there, ask for her! She will not disappoint!
I always have great service and food comes out fresh and quickly too!! I personally love their barbecue chicken wings and french fries. Their chips and queso are also good!
Spinach and mushroom quesadilla. Charro beans are really good. Highly recommend. Ask for Araceli to be your waitress.
Good food. Great service. The young man with curly hair did a wonderful job serving our table of 8. The ambiance was relaxed with sports playing on the Tvs. The restrooms were clean. The sweet tea was good and all of our dood was great.
Picked up dinner since this was next to my hotel. Pretty good food, friendly service, came out fast. Will come back next time I am in town, thanks!
